The Prima compressor nebuliser is a tabletop device for the home treatment of asthma, chronic bronchitis, COPD and acute chest infections with prescribed inhaled medication. It is suitable for adults and children and is also used in clinics, pharmacies and emergency rooms for routine aerosol therapy.
The compressor pushes air through the nebuliser cup, turning the liquid medication into a mist that is breathed in through a mask or mouthpiece over a few minutes. Treatment is given sitting upright and breathing normally. The accessories are rinsed and dried after each session, and the device should be used as directed by a doctor or respiratory therapist.
