The Halogen Bulb 6 V 10 W is a low-voltage halogen lamp rated 6 V and 10 W, with a two-pin (bi-pin) base. It is supplied as a like-for-like replacement for compact microscope illuminators and small ophthalmic and ENT instruments, and is intended for biomedical technicians and facility managers who keep examination, theatre and laboratory lighting in service.
The bulb is fitted by pressing its contacts squarely into the lamp holder once the equipment is isolated and cool. Handle it by the base or with a clean cloth, as fingerprints on the quartz glass cause hot spots and early failure. Replacing with the correct 6 V, 10 W rating preserves the lamp's intended brightness and colour rendering.

Delivery

Returns & cancellations
- Lamps and bulbs are fragile: inspect on arrival and report breakage or defects within 48 hours of delivery with photographs; we replace at no cost.
- Unused bulbs in original packaging may be returned within 14 days of delivery.
- Bulbs that have been fitted or powered are not returnable except for early failure covered by the manufacturer.
Warranty
Bulbs and lamps are covered against manufacturing defects and premature failure within the manufacturer's stated rating. Failure caused by incorrect voltage, handling with bare hands or use outside the lamp housing is excluded.
