Hegar Uterine Dilators are graduated, double-ended surgical instruments used to dilate the cervical canal before intrauterine procedures such as dilation and curettage, hysteroscopy or IUD insertion. They are intended for gynaecologists and obstetric surgeons in hospitals, day-surgery units and gynaecology clinics.
The clinician begins with the smallest dilator and progresses through increasing diameters until the cervix admits the instrument required for the procedure. The smooth, rounded tips and polished stainless-steel surface allow gentle passage and are compatible with routine cleaning, disinfection and steam sterilisation between patients. Pricing & quotations
Prices are shown in Omani Rial (OMR). Applicable VAT, import duties and destination charges are confirmed on your quotation or at checkout for your delivery location. Quotations carry a reference number and a validity window; volume, tender and project pricing is available on request.
Ordering & payment
Online orders are paid at checkout. Quoted orders are paid by bank transfer or card before dispatch unless credit terms have been agreed on an approved corporate account, which may order against a purchase order referencing the quotation number.
Delivery
Lead time and freight for this item are confirmed on your quotation or order confirmation for Oman & the GCC, Rwanda and East Africa. CIF, EXW and DDP terms are quoted per destination and risk passes according to the agreed Incoterm. The buyer is responsible for any import permit or product registration required in the destination country. Mains-powered equipment is supplied for the voltage and plug type stated on the quotation.
Returns & cancellations
- Equipment that arrives damaged or fails on first use must be reported within 48 hours of delivery; we arrange replacement or credit.
- Unused equipment in sealed original packaging may be returned within 14 days of delivery; items that have been installed, sterilised or used on patients are not returnable except for defects.
- Consumables and single-use accessories are excluded once opened.
Warranty
This item carries the original manufacturer's warranty, typically 12–24 months; the period that applies to this item is stated on your quotation or invoice. MedyMar manages warranty claims with the manufacturer on your behalf. The warranty excludes consumables and wear parts, physical damage, liquid ingress, use outside the manufacturer's instructions and unauthorised repair.
