Aquacel Ag+ Extra is a sterile, silver-containing Hydrofiber dressing from Convatec for moderately to heavily exuding wounds where infection is present or suspected, including diabetic foot ulcers, leg ulcers, pressure ulcers and surgical wounds. It is used in hospital wound clinics, community nursing and supervised home care, and is available in 10 × 10 cm and 5 × 5 cm.
The dressing is applied to the cleansed wound bed and secured with a secondary dressing. On contact with exudate it forms a soft gel that locks in fluid and bacteria, while the Ag+ formulation combines ionic silver with agents designed to help disrupt biofilm. Change frequency is determined by the treating clinician.

These terms apply to the supply of Aquacel Ag+ Extra Silver Hydrofiber Dressing (SKU EHM-0202-01, EHM-0202-02), a sterile or single-use medical consumable supplied by MedyMar, Muscat, Sultanate of Oman. They supplement our store-wide Shipping and Returns policies.
Pricing & quotations
Prices are shown in Omani Rial (OMR). Applicable VAT, import duties and destination charges are confirmed on your quotation or at checkout for your delivery location. Quotations carry a reference number and a validity window; volume, tender and project pricing is available on request.
Ordering & payment
Online orders are paid at checkout. Quoted orders are paid by bank transfer or card before dispatch unless credit terms have been agreed on an approved corporate account, which may order against a purchase order referencing the quotation number.
Delivery
Lead time and freight for this item are confirmed on your quotation or order confirmation for Oman & the GCC, Rwanda and East Africa. CIF, EXW and DDP terms are quoted per destination and risk passes according to the agreed Incoterm. The buyer is responsible for any import permit or product registration required in the destination country.
Returns & cancellations
- Sterile and single-use items cannot be returned once the packaging has been opened or the sterile barrier compromised.
- Unopened stock may be returned within 14 days of delivery, subject to lot verification and intact packaging.
- Check expiry dates and seals on receipt; report any damage, defect or shortage within 48 hours with photographs.
Warranty
Consumables are covered against manufacturing defects and are supplied with the shelf life stated on the pack. No further warranty applies once a pack has been opened or used.
Use & regulatory
Single-use items must not be reprocessed or reused; dispose of according to local clinical-waste rules.
